I thought about you while I was at the State Fair the first Sunday it was open. That was where we went the first time I got you away from the nursing home. I'm glad Mary talked you into going when she said "If you got a chance to get away from here, take it!". I guess that was the first time you rode the city buses and trains to get to the fair, but you found it wasn't that bad! That was the first time I ever rode up the wheelchair lift. It was an experience. With all those places we've visited, I never realized how wheelchair imcompatible a lot of roads are. Even the sidewalk in front of the nursing home isn't built for wheelchairs - no ramp to get on the sidewalk, I had to lift the wheelchair to get you on there. But nothing stopped us from getting to where we needed to go. |

Hi Crystal, I'm glad I had a chance to visit you on September 17, 2009. That was the 1 year anniversary of us meeting. I almost thought the rain was going to interrupt the trip, but when I got to Ola, I know you stopped the rain so we could have a nice visit. And then the rain started back up right after I left. I saw that someone had added a couple of night lights to your grave. I think that will look nice at night. I hope you enjoy the flowers I left, I did not know what kind you liked. A few was put on your mother's grave; I hope she likes those. I still miss you Crystal, and always will. I never expected us to become best friends in only one or two months. I enjoyed all the trips we took. I know you enjoyed getting away from the nursing home, and we got to know each other a little better. Until we meet again ... Love, Kerry |

Lil sis, I miss you so much that no words can truly express. I wished for much more for you and losing momma, you and Grandma is the hardest thing in the world for me. I have always been the strong one, but this is getting to me. Maddy asks about you weekly, she misses her Nawna. Zach is getting so big, he does not even notice I exist sometimes. I know Robyn misses you dearly. I am trying to get her on some of the weekends I have the kids. Danny misses you too, he was really torn up over not being able to be at your funeral. We all love you Red, say Hello to Grandad and Mom, Momma, Grandpa and Grandma, Wanda, Aunt Peggy & Uncle Bobby, & see if you can find Bev and say Hi too. We miss you and love you. |

I can't believe that you are gone and i will never get to talk or hug you ever again. Today is my son's birthday today he is 3.
